Food and ambience was very good. We had the New York steak (which was a very large cut) and it was fantastic. The sweet potato side was also fantastic. David our server was amazing. Highly recommend!!!

This place was the best meal I had in Mexico city during my two week stay. The house made charcuterie board, the smoked pork chop, and wood fired Mexican beef filet are the highlights. The charcuterie board was a beautiful balance between sweet & savory. The cuts were soft and not too salty. The smoked pork chop had such a good deep flavor paired with the chimichurri & sweet potato, heavenly. We ordered the steak medium rare. Great texture, the meat was tender. Flavor was mild beef, not gamey (even though I do like that flavor profile). The quality of the food here is top notch. I was looking for an upscale restaurant that has contemporary Mexican food. This restaurant checked all the marks. This place is style AND substance. There are far too many upscale restaurants in CDMX that are style over substance. Everything was seasoned properly. Our server & sommelier David gave such good service. He showed us a few wines to taste. We ended up getting a bottle of the orange wine. Other items we ordered included: Baked clams in pasilla chili butter with mushrooms and spinach served with bread. A delicious hot appetizer, it's like eating seafood cheese dip. Pan-searer catch of the day with potatoes and garlic chips - When we went it was branzino, lovely skin texture, buttery flesh. Delicate dish. Heirloom tomato salad - good flavors, tomatoes were okay, a bit out of season given that I ate here in January. Marscapone cheesecake with seasonal fruit compote - it was a basque style cheesecake with quince, good cake texture, quiche paired well. Dessert is not too sweet. Charred strawberries with cream and zest - refreshing dessert. The strawberries were either sweet themselves or the chef's seasoned them with a touch of vanilla & sugar to make them delicious I hope this restaurant will be around for a while. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
